If I am an ASH Member, can I access sessions?
All sessions must be purchased. ASH members are eligible for discounts on all sessions. If you are an ASH member, the discounted price will be automatically applied when you sign in with your ASH username and password. You can purchase individual sessions or full meeting packages; the full meeting package provides a better value.>
How do I purchase a session?
You may browse sessions at any time, but to purchase a session, you must sign in with your ASH username and password first. If you are an ASH member, this will ensure that the member discount is applied to your purchases.
How do I find a particular session?
To find sessions, browse the site or search the Catalog to select a specific meeting or session.
How do I play a session?
You must first purchase a session (or sessions/full meeting) in order to play it. You also must be logged into ASH with your ASH username and password to view sessions that you purchased. Once you have purchased sessions, they will appear in My Library and you can select a session and then click the View Session button. Once you have purchased sessions, you may view them at any time.
Can I download my purchased sessions?
You are not able to download sessions you have purchased. Presentations will be available on ASH On Demand for three years unless medical science changes to such an extent that would require removal of the recording.
Can I make the video window larger?
Yes, to get to full screen mode, place the cursor over the video window while you are playing a presentation and a control panel will appear. Select the icon with the box and arrow in the top right corner. When in full screen mode, there will be icons on the right that allow you to switch which video is larger and how you view the two videos.
I can’t hear the presentation. How do I fix that?
There are three places where you can adjust the volume. Place the cursor over the video window and you will see a volume control on the bottom right; you can also adjust the volume on your computer and on your speakers if you have external speakers.
Do I have to be online to watch presentations?
Yes. ASH On Demand requires that you be online and logged into your ASH account to purchase and view sessions.
How do I watch presentations on my mobile device?
ASH On Demand is automatically formatted to play on most mobile devices. Simply log in on your mobile device. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every mobile device as operating system requirements are constantly changing.
You must be online to stream sessions on your mobile device. Sessions cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Most sessions should work using 3G/4G and Wi-Fi connections; however the quality will depend on the bandwidth available at any given location and time.
I am looking for a specific session that I know was part of a meeting and I can’t find it. How do I find it?
ASH can only publish presentations with speaker consent, so all sessions at a meeting may not be captured and included in ASH On Demand.
Can I get CME credit for watching ASH On Demand videos?
No. CME is not currently available for ASH On Demand.
I previously purchased webcasts from the 2013 ASH Annual Meeting in New Orleans. Can I access these through ASH On Demand?
