The ASH Consultative Hematology Course (CHC) is an interactive, half-day program focused on non-malignant hematology and intended for clinical hematologists based in community practice in North America.Led by faculty familiar with consultative practice issues, CHC covers commonly encountered clinical problems that arise in everyday practice and require the expertise of a hematologist. Program participants engage in case-based presentations and discussions focusing on topics such as thrombosis, iron replacement therapy, and sickle cell disease.
