How I Treat AML: When Patients Ask If AML Can Be Inherited, What Do I Tell Them?
The importance of germline susceptibility to hematopoietic malignancies is increasingly recognized, and patient diagnosis requires a high index of suspicion, familiarity with the known inherited syndromes, and knowledge of clinical testing options.
